I am a 65 yo looking for new cookie recipes for Christmas cookies. When my mother was living (5years ago) we used to bake Christmas cookies over 1 day when we were younger, but it got to be 3 days as we aged. We baked around 105 dozen each year. We gave most of them away. Now that she's gone I have not baked Christmas cookies since. Two reason's: 1. she's gone and 2. I moved into a new house where I don't have the nice facilities that she had in her kitchen. But I think I might be up to trying at least a new recipe and a few dozen cookies this year??? Your recipe for cranberry orange sugar cookies sound great. Sugar cookies were one of the kinds we made. We usually made 6 batches of sugar cookies. Usually around 36 dozen depending on the size of our cookie cutters we picked for that year. We rolled them and did cut-outs with them. Then we got the guys to ice and decorate them for Christmas.
