If you’re a foodaholic like me then it’s no surprise to see you here! 😉 Well I’m Sharmeen Jamaloodeen.. Born in the paradise island of Mauritius,(en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mauritius) found in the beautiful ocean of the Indian Ocean, where you can say summer is present for 365 days a year! 😉 I’m here to share my everlasting LOVE for food as well as for food photography which I have been up to for the past two and half years.. My blog Confessions of a Foodaholic is a blend of Mauritian, Italian, European, Chinese as well as Indian Food as i stated above on my blog description.. Because living in a multi-cultured country I have been raised up with the chance to taste to a variety of different kinds of foods from all the different cultures present in our wonderful island of Mauritius.. I must admit that sometimes I end up mixing up Indian cuisine with Mauritian cuisine or even cooking Italian cuisine with a little twist “a la mauricienne” like we would say here in Mauritius! 😀 And hence ending up cooking a new sort of recipe “My way” 😀 Cooking is a real passion for me.. It’s also an excellent way for me to escape from the everyday life specially when am stressed! YES! If ever am found stressed out,well the ONLY place you’re sure to find me is in the kitchen COOKING! 😉 Well I know am no professional chef neither a professional photographer but this blog is to show you that any normal cook like me and you can all prepare and cook may it be in the everyday life or for a special occasion..
